In October 2019, Hangzhou Golong, in collaboration with Bank of China (Hong Kong), installed public transport POS terminals that simultaneously support credit card (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, and UnionPay) tap-and-go and mobile QR code payments for over 300 Long Win buses in Hong Kong. This marked the first introduction of mobile QR code payment services in Hong Kong.
Starting from January 2021, KMB in Hong Kong expanded its electronic payment system, covering 60 bus routes and supporting 10 payment methods, with the first phase deploying 550 vehicles.
On November 23, 2021, HK Tramways & Thales HK signed an online contract with Golong, ushering in an era of diversified electronic payments for Hong Kong trams.
