Bus Face Recognition for Safe Student Travel, Providing Comprehensive Safety

"Ding! Your child took the Child-Friendly Special Line 111 at 8:00 a.m. on September 28th. License plate number: Zhe H03797D. Boarding location: Chengnan Bus Terminal." Recently, Ms. Zhao, a citizen of Changshan City, received a message from the Sanqu Public Transportation Co., Ltd.
City Bus Line 111 is the first child-friendly special line jointly created by the Changshan Transportation Bureau and the County Sanqu Public Transportation Co., Ltd., aiming to enhance the safety, convenience, and comfort of children's travel. This line, which also serves as a pilot for child-friendly special lines in Quzhou City, is an important bus route in the urban area.
The Child-Friendly Special Line is 13.2 kilometers long, with 9 buses in operation from 6:10 a.m. to 5:40 p.m., offering a total of 63 trips per day with intervals of 10-15 minutes between trips. It has 68 bi-directional bus stops, with many trips, high efficiency, wide coverage, and long service hours. At the same time, this route passes through several places closely related to children's learning and life, such as primary and secondary schools, libraries, cultural centers, parks, and commercial areas.

"The Child-Friendly Special Line has two features. Firstly, passengers can board immediately after face recognition. By using the 'U Worry-Free' bus face recognition digital application system, parents register and bind their accounts, input their children's facial information, and achieve boarding in just 20 seconds by face, effectively solving the problem of boarding congestion. Secondly, the journey can be traced. While children board the bus by face recognition, parents receive detailed information such as boarding time and license plate number to ensure the safety of their children's journeys," explained by a relevant official from the Changshan County Transportation Bureau. The "U Worry-Free" face recognition bus application has been launched and operated on all buses in the county, with a registered user base of 12,000, of which the registration and usage rate among students has reached 85%. This face recognition boarding solution was fully supported and implemented by Hangzhou Golong Technology Co., Ltd.
"From the voice announcement when boarding to the slow braking when getting off, it feels quite good to take the bus. I feel relieved when my child travels by bus in the future," remarked Ms. Zhao. The bus used on the Child-Friendly Special Line 111 are all new energy buses with lower noise and higher safety coefficients. To ensure children's safety, safety belts have been added to the caring seats of this special line, and the average age of drivers is over 5 years. Drivers maintain enthusiasm and patience throughout the driving process, ensuring "slow start, wait a moment, and no sudden braking."
