On November 23, 2021, the online signing ceremony between HK Tramways & Thales HK and Golong Technology was successfully carried out, following which Golongg will help Hong Kong Tramways to fully realize diversified electronic payment.
With the signing of this agreement, Guolang, HK Tramways and Thales HK will be working closely on the project, and Hong Kong Tramway's diversified electronic payments are expected to go live in the third quarter of next year, including Octopus, NFC, Mastercard/ UnionPay/ VISA/ JCB, mobile payment, Apple Pay/ Google Pay ( Android) / Samsung Pay, QR code payment, AlipayHK EasyGo / Alipay Ride Code* / UnionPay Cloud Flash App "Ride Code" and more than 10 types of payment methods.
