Golong Technology and Bank of China assisted Long Win in Launching a new electronic payment system since stalling the electronic payment system for the entire fleet of Long Win Bus. The new electronic payment system, launched on 39 routes on February 7th, supports PayWave, mobile payment devices, or QR code scanning, which can give passengers more payment options.

The new electronic payment system offers passengers more options. Passengers can choose to pay through mobile phones and electronic wallets in smart wears except credit cards. The new system supports the following payment: MasterCard, UnionPay, VISA PayWave, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Alipay HK Easy Go, Alipay Easy Go, UnionPay QuickPass, and QR code.

Wu Aishi, vice president of BOI credit card, said electronic payment is becoming more and more popular in Hong Kong, and the use of electronic payment by Long Win Bus rose by nearly 50% in the fourth quarter of last year, which can reflect the increasing acceptance of new electronic payment by passengers.
The electronic payment system will be piloted on 37 routes of Long Win. The routes mainly include Tsim Sha Tsui Pier and Tsing Sha Road interchange, and cover some holiday routes, involving 500 buses. Long Win will add a new electronic payment system logo to the front of the bus and the electronic route display screen, allowing passengers to choose payment methods and prepare payment tools in advance.
