On September 19, 2022, Ms. Zhang Danyan, Chairwoman of Hangzhou Golong Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to participate in the strategic cooperation deepening ceremony between Taicang Municipal People's Government and Bank of China Suzhou Branch, as well as the launch event of digital RMB scene application.
The event was attended by Chen Huaiyu, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Bank of China, Hu Xing'an, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Bank of China Suzhou Branch, Wang Xiangyuan, Secretary of the Taicang Municipal Party Committee, and Shao Jianlin, Director of the Taicang Port Authority. Ms. Zhang Danyan, Chairwoman of Guolang Technology Co., Ltd., received the certificate of "Digital RMB Ecological Construction Partner" issued by Bank of China Suzhou Branch. This honor certificate signifies Golong Technology's outstanding contribution to exploring new ways of developing "smart bus."
Digitalization Reform
Digital RMB is issued by the People's Bank of China and is a legal currency with national credit endorsement and legal tender capability.
As early as October 2020, Bank of China Suzhou Branch, Changyun Information Technology Construction Co., Ltd., and Hangzhou Golong Technology jointly developed the digital RMB payment application on buses on routes 5, 16, 117, and 119. Passengers can directly open wallets through the digital RMB App and use QR code payment to pay when boarding, realizing digital RMB payment.
Suzhou, as one of the first pilot cities for digital RMB, has achieved phased results during the trial operation period. The bus all-in-one payment machines provided by Golong not only ensure the stability of the payment system and terminals but also support the wallets of six major operating agencies, which can be universally used. The diversified and convenient payment methods have been highly praised by passengers.
Digital New Experience
After assisting Changshu buses in promoting the use of digital RMB for bus payments, projects in Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Xinchang County, and other places have gradually completed the online launch of digital RMB. Golong Technology has made outstanding contributions to the promotion of digital RMB applications in the transportation field.
