On March 15th, 2020, mobile payment was available on 7 routes of the Hong Kong Long Win Bus. Passengers can choose to either tap the card or scan the QR code. It supports VISA, MasterCard, UnionPay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay which people are familiar with.
Hangzhou Golong Technology and Bank of China (Hong Kong) finished the installation of mobile payment POS machines for Hong Kong Long Win Bus. The machines have been officially used, which increases the convenience of taking the bus and Long Win Bus operating efficiency and quality of service. Hong Kong being an international metropolis, its public transportation is also improved.
Long Win Bus Mobile Payment Process (the first phase will be piloted on 7 routes from March 15)
1.Get thingsreadybefore boarding, such as credit cards or mobile payment QR codes.2.The adult fareis default. For children or elderly people, please press the button in the upper right corner of the validatorto enjoy the 50% discount.
3.Tapthecredit card below the validator or scan the QR code at the top of the validator to pay.
4.The validatorbeepsand shows “Welcome” on screen, which means that the transaction is completed.
