On July 28, the first modern tram in Central China started operating in Wuhan Development Zone. The route starts from the west, Huangling Guanlianhu Road, and passes through Fenghuang Avenue, Zhu Shan Er Lu, Quan Li San Lu, Houguanhu Avenue, Checheng West Road, and Zhouyang Avenue. The last stop is the Wheel Square of Zhouyang Avenue. At the Wheel Square Station, seamless transfer is available with the Zhouyang Avenue Station of Metro Route 3.
It is worth mentioning that the first Wuhan tram is also equipped with the popular mobile payment POS machine on the market, which breaks the traditional farebox, recharging, and card payment. The Golong POS machine now realizes UnionPay QuickPass HCE (Android) and various smartphone Pay, which can provide convenience for passengers.
