In November 2020, Golong Technology assisted Yongjia Bus in launching the Nongxin QR code for taking the bus and air top-up, which enriched the bus payment method and also improved the convenience of bus card recharging and supplementary registration.
The Nongxin QR code for taking the bus is a new payment method jointly launched by Golong, provincial cooperatives, and Yongjia Bus for citizens. On the basis of the original payment method, citizens have one more payment option to take the bus.
At present, most buses can provide online recharge services. However, users need to go to the designated outlets for supplementary registration after recharging online. Due to the uneven distribution of outlets, users still have difficulties in finding outlets and operating. At the same time, bus companies are also facing high rents, hardware costs for purchasing machinery and equipment, and pressure on operation and maintenance labor costs. The air top-up technology independently developed by Golong uses its own advantages to transfer the recharging outlets to the “bus validator”.
After only recharge, Yongjia citizens can carry the bus card to take the bus. Supplementary registration can be completed through contactless communication with the bus mobile payment terminal.
