Abstract:
Smart farebox can solve many of the problems brought by the “self-service dropping coins” currently adopted by city buses, which can bring convenience to bus companies and passengers.

City buses are increasingly becoming the preferred means of transportation for citizens to travel, but the charging mode which is self-service dropping coins has been facing the test of integrity. At present, fareboxes of city buses cannot give change and check the authenticity of money, which can increase the workload of banknote counting later and limit the development of city buses.
In terms of this problem, the smart all-in-one farebox will combine the embedded system and the intelligent identification module to automatically detect authenticity and counting, and upload relevant information such as coins and GPS positioning in real time, so as to realize the technical processing function of controlling, checking, counting and de-falsifying the coins and solve the problem of the last isolated information in the public payment system. To a certain extent, the loss of bus companies can be avoided.
Bus “smart farebox” can solve the problems existing in traditional fareboxes, because money can be acquired, stored, managed, and reproduced in digital form. The business volume of manual banknote counting is greatly reduced because of the smart farebox. It can directly connect with the bank to improve management efficiency with a 100% accuracy rate. Thereby, it can reduce costs and increase efficiency. At the same time, this product is important in the construction of urban modernization and digital reform. As the digital construction of the whole bus system, it can promote the sustainable development of the city.
The hardware of the smart farebox is mainly composed of two parts: the receiving body and the head of the smart farebox.
